Post 6: Postgraduate Studies
In my school days,
never pass for my mind to study geography, not until the last year of school.
So many careers took my attention in that time, but geography, geology and
agronomy were the selected group and finally, I have decided to dedicate my
life to the geography.
I think of
complementing my studies with a postgraduate course focused on soil and water
management. I think it is important to find new answers to the world's water
and environmental problems.
Taking this course, I
believe that my specialization in this area will allow me to access a work with
greater significance at the environmental level, where planning and generating
sustainable spaces with zero carbon footprint is profitable and achievable.
I would like to study
the current systems of land use and irrigation, take subjects such as
glaciology, botany, agronomy, among others.
I would like to study
in Argentina, this because my family lives there, apart, I like very much the
planning of certain places that look like if they were rural, but are
urbanized, well, speaking of the wide extension of plots and the care of large
majority as an example of rurality, along with the maintenance of wetlands and
subterranean napas in sub-urban areas, as i could observe in the periphery of
Buenos Aires when i went on a trip last winter.
I would like to study
part-time, so that i can work and study in similar areas as much as possible.
By doing this I believe I can help combat the environmental crisis, creating spaces that are sustainable and well planned.
